White Room

As mentioned in my early 'Lounging Around' blog post, I did a portraiture shoot with the gorgeous Shanice Ang for the revamp of her blog and it just so happened that the boy and I got a room at Studio M for our staycation and it became the perfect shoot location for us that entirely fit the bill for an all white theme. I played with a few different edits because I couldn't decide which I liked best. It's a breeze shooting Shanice ever since I met her a year ago for an outdoor shoot for an online store. Special guest appearance is non other than my love- Fujifilm X100S.

Reverie

Pretty is a total understatement for Stella. Imagine my delight when I first met her. Pearlyn and I have adoringly named her our 'Tofu Princess' and not to mention, she is really tall. My mom's handmade garland came into good use again and we loved how everything fits together nicely and even the weather was perfect. We shot till the sun set and loved how it casted a warm glow over the entire beach. We had a lot a lot of fun shooting together. It's always nothing but fun with Pearlyn and with Stella it was like we've known each other for forever. we had so much fun laughing and talking, climbing rocks, snapping behind the scenes, going "whoaaaaa, nice leh!" and giggling over it when Pearlyn snaps a good behind the scenes picture and falling down and scraping our feet against the rocks. It's been so many months, but I loved these photos and the fun we had shooting. It's times like this I'm grateful to have a job that barely makes me feel like I am working.

July is coming to an end! I'm so stoked for August's arrival and all the plans we have made. I've been lucky to have shot for Ziggy magazine and NBS Pageant etc and an upcoming wedding which I am really looking forward to because it is going to be really beautiful and different.

A Garden Affair

This was a shoot done many months back in 2012 for my friend- Alene Breddeman. She's half German and half Chinese, which explains her unique features! I really like the ones done in the garden, and I'm thankful that the weather was good and Alene for being spontaneous and completing entrusting me to do the job. The Fullerton Hotel room really came in handy for the the second part of the shoot (:

Not forgetting my mom, the hands behind the floral garland worn here. She was a total sweetheart in helping out with the makings of the garland when she saw me lugging home a back of artificial flowers. You'll be seeing more of the garlands she has made here soon!

A personal shoot sparked by my love for tattoos and cigarettes which took the form of Roseline and I know I just had to shoot her when I first met her, and the concept just revolves around Ross being.....herself. The Club Hotel topped my list for an all-white concept which I couldn't execute in my own room.
